The Debut of the Kids Art Fest

The Kids Art Festival debuts on June 4th of Festival weekend. Local children ages 5 – 18 will be on hand to display and sell their creations. This will be a highlight event of the weekend. Come out and support these talented young artists.

For Artists:  Click here to download the Art Fest Application, which includes the Rules & Regulations.  GABBF Kids Art Fest Full Application  First Come, first Serve so apply soon.  Accepting up to 50 artists.  $10 fee (need based scholarships are available.) Application deadline is April 1, 2016.

Kids 2016 T-shirt Contest

The Festival is once again hosting a Kids T-Shirt Contest for local schools. The winner of the contest will have their shirt sold at the Festival Market June 4-5 of Festival weekend. Over Festival Weekend

New Orleans food & fun for the whole family.  Bounce Fun, Face Painting, 2nd Line Parade, Street Performers, Kids Activities.

Advocate Brass Band’s Children’s Concert at Weisiger Park on Saturday, June 4th from 9:00 AM – 9:50 AM. All children are welcome to participate.  Advocate Brass CHILDREN’S CONCERT APPLICATION2

People’s Parade on Main Street Saturday, June 4th at 11:00 AM.  11+ bands, cars, beads and so much fun. This is also the time for the Wagons and Wheels contest, a favorite event for families during the parade.

The Creation Station, free on Centre’s Campus Saturday, June 4th from Noon – 4:30 PM.  Instrument Petting Zoo, Children’s Stage performances,  Art Activities sponsored by Bluegrass Green Source, Community Arts Center, Josephine Sculpture Park, Bubble Bug and many other partners.  Specific details on activities and performances will be coming soon.
