Event Information
The conference also provides participants opportunities for interaction with the world-renowned presenters and performers in attendance. Papers will range in topic from Revolutionary War bands to the marches of John Philip Sousa and E.F. Goldman to the Golden Age of American bands at the time of Jules Levy and Patrick Gilmore. The topics chosen in connection with this theme should prove to have the widest appeal, including the specialist scholar and the average layman. Performances will include the U.S. Army “Pershing’s Own” Herald Trumpets in a spectacular multi-media event telling their service to the nation, as well as the famous Terry Everson, internationally renowned trumpet soloist.
