Come enjoy the Louisiana Bayou in the heart of Central Kentucky. Enjoy traditional New Orleans music, Cajun food, Cajun dance, libations and fun for all ages. Have a blast at Bayou & Brass! It’s Mardi Gras in downtown Danville! As part of the Great American Brass Band Festival, downtown Danville will come alive with the sights, sounds and flavors of New Orleans. Bring your kids to enjoy free activities! Be sure to join the 2nd line parade starting at 5:00 pm at the Boyle County Library (parasol decorating information below). Everyone is welcome.

Children’s Parasol Parade Decorating Details:
Soulshine Studio will be hosting two times to stop by and decorate parasols for the Children’s Parasol Parade. The first session is May 18th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. The second decorating session is May 20th from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. 40 parasols have been donated for these two sessions. For more information on signing up for designing your parasol, please contact Scarlet Smothers at 859-319-0653. Unable to make these decorating times? No problem, parasols are available at Hobby Lobby, decorate yours at home, and then join us at the Parasol Parade line up at 4:45 pm.
