Liverpool, NY – Gabriel DiMartino has been playing trumpet since his father gave him one to put in his toy box on his third birthday. DiMartino has studied the trumpet nearly his entire life, taking lessons and attending master classes and conferences for more than 18 years. DiMartino can be heard on a variety of recordings, from the Vivaldi Concerto (with father Vince) with the Syracuse University Wind Ensemble (under the direction of John Laverty) to the horse-whinny on the collected works of Leroy Anderson played on the San Phillipo Wurlitzer Theatre Organ. DiMartino returns to Danville, Kentucky every summer to be a part of the Brass Band Festival.
