Parade Activities Prior to the Creation Station
Wagons and Wheels Contest – Calling all creative kids. Would you like to be part of the Main Street Parade? Decorate your wagon or bike and take part in this fun, family event. The annual Wagons and Wheels contest will be coordinated this year by Little Paws Piano and Music Studio. Wagons and Wheels 2017 Entry Form
The Great American Kazoo Band – Another opportunity to take part in the GABBF Main Street Parade, the Great American Kazoo Band. This event is coordinated by Little Paws Piano and Music Studio. (June 2nd rehearsal at 10:00 am at Little Paws Studio). Kazoo Band Registration 2017
$1 raffle tickets available during Festival week (sold the week before the Festival, during Bayou & Brass, and the Festival Market next to the Creation Station) Purchase tickets for a chance to win an American Girl Doll Wellie Wisher and Storybook (Ashlyn). Or purchase tickets to win a kids Louisville Slugger Bat and Ball. Also get a chance to win a pBone kids Trombone. The drawing will take place between 6:30-7:00 pm on Centre College’s campus on June 3, 2017. Winners of both raffles will be announced at 6:50 pm on Saturday night, June 3 of the Festival from the Main Stage. Winners must pick up their items by June 9, 2017 from the Festival offices at 320 West Main Street, Danville, KY 40422. All proceeds benefit the Great American Brass Band Festival’s Educational Programs.
Creation Station Activity and Stage Schedule

|12:00-3:30 pm||Community Art Center Art Project, Community Tree Project, Face Painting, and Percussion Instrument Making Project.|
|12:45 pm||Danville Dance Company will perform on the Kids Stage.|
|1:45 pm||Yoga for Kids at the Kids Stage with Francine Southerland.|
|2:00 pm||Story Time at the Creation Station: Bring your American Girl doll or favorite baseball glove and settle in for stories about the American Girl dolls and America’s favorite pastime, baseball. Stories will be read by: Olivia Prewitt, the current Miss Kentucky Teen USA; Maria Montgomery Record, former Miss Kentucky USA 2009; and Michael Koob.|
|2:45 pm||Grace Sheen will lead a singalong on the Kids Stage.|
|3:00-4:00 pm||The Kentucky Wheelmen will be be in the Creation Station with their bikes.|
|3:30-7:00 pm||Tree Branch Mobile with ornaments, Inspiration Rock Painting, and Flash Tattoos.|
|3:45-4:00 pm||Opening Act Studio performing|
|4:00-7:00 pm||Crafting with Kids: Origami Paper making.|
|12:00-7:00 pm||A variety of activities will be going on all day: Kings and Queen Chess Club will have chess set up for children of all ages, corn hole, volleyball, flapper Cheerios jewelry and bubbles. A professional silhouette artist will also be at the Creation Station.|
